Harlem, Georgia Branch of Key Women of America Inc. was organized on November 15, 1979.A group of twelve eager to serve women met at the home of Key Sister Ivry Louard with the mindset to inspire the thoughts of the elderly and youth of Harlem, Georgia.
The charter was formed and on Sunday, May 18, 1980, Harlem, Georgia Branch of Key Women of America, Inc. installation service was held at 4:00 PM at the New Holt Baptist Church, Harlem Georgia. The following officers were installed:

Harlem Branch of Key Women has been very active in area schools, nursing homes, churches, and other community activities. Over our tenure, we have had some seasons whereas we less active than others due to life’s challenges, however our goal is always

In 1983, Key Women of America, Inc. Southern Region was formed and bonded under the umbrella of LOVE.
Some of the fundraising activities are trips to Carowinds, Six Flags, fashion shows, University of Georgia football games and concession stands, baby contests, bake sells, lunch and dinner sells, city wide Halloween Parties, donut sells and fish fries. These Thanksgiving and Christmas donations, baskets of love to the elderly and the home bound, seasonal gifts for nursing homes, and to join other organizations with service to veterans on Veterans Day. In addition, we have held honor banquets for our community businesses.
We, the Harlem Branch of Key Women of America, Inc. are forever ready to help and support our fellow Key Sisters, church and community events and activities with whatever is needed within our capability.
